Finishes: The finishes offered are Anodized. This is a surface treatment that does not change the dimensions of the titanium plate. It is far better than any paint or coating. Titanium naturally does not corrode so the Raw Ti is perfectly fine and still better than any finish applied to a steel or aluminum plate. Anodizing adds a little protection to the Titanium.
Worn Matte Black: This is not an anodizing process but is still a surface treatment so the dimensions are still very tight. It can scratch or wear but remains a dark color and does not chip or flake. This finish is not extremely consistent so some areas may be slightly darker than others. Because of the properties of titanium, you will see a small color shift as light angles change.
