Smith and Wesson M&P 2.0-RMR/SRO/507C
This plate securely mounts optics with the Trijicon RMR footprint to the M&P 2.0 optic cut. You will not find a better looking, more secure, or durable optic mount. The red dot optic is a press fit into the plate and the plate is very snug in the slide. This prevents excess loads on the optic and puts all the energy from the gun cycling into the plate and slide, not the screws.
Trijicon Optics will need to have an Iron sight with a minimum rear sight height of .415”. Similar to XS sights and Night Fision. Holosun 507/508 optics will work fine with the factory tall iron sights.
The Carbon Port is a Boss that extents forward slightly and has a ramp machined into it. This ramp re-directs the carbon or Gasses that frequently plague the M&P with Optics mounted.
Not only does this plate function very well, but a lot of time was also spent ensuring the plate blends with the lines of the slide so it looks incredibly good.

Screw torque specs: I recommend the 6-32 screws be torqued between 15-20 inch/lbs. It is best to walk the screws up to spec. Start lower and slowly increase each screw to the torque spec.
